MEAD’S MARVELLOUS RODENT FOOD, “WHERE EVERY RODENT HAS ITS DAY”

We started trading in May  2024 mainly because I noticed the rodent diets in most pet shops were made from artificial pieces of wheat extruded biscuits, corn and pellets. These are highly processed dietary inclusions for rodents. They will survive but not thrive on these commercial diets. I wanted more for my pet rodents. I keep Mongolian Gerbils, Duprasi Gerbils, hamsters, mice and dwarf Rats. So I decided to create natural handmade blended Gerbil, Mouse and Hamster, Rat Food. These formulas are based on natural feeding with a high nutritional content and stimulate and encourages natural foraging behaviour.

We hand blend all our formulas and they consistent of seeds, grains, forage, insect protein, 100% British Freeze Dried Chicken, and fruit and vegetables. We also have a vegan option available.

Our Rodent Diets are Species Specific and there are no artificial preservatives in our recipes. 

Our Syrian Hamster, Dwarf Hamster (includes Roborovski and Chinese Hamsters), Gerbil and Pet Mouse Food

are nutritionally analysed Food Group 1 by a UK independent UKAS Laboratory ISO/IEC 17025 GAFA FOSFA  CERTIFIED company 

We have launched our business across Etsy, Facebook and Instagram. We now want to reach more owners to improve their pet rodents nutrition and welfare. We are supporters of ethical rodent care. 

We offer a variety of weight variations from 250g, 500g and 1kg pouches of food. The packaging is resealable brand labelled and product labelled then heat sealed to provide extra freshness before dispatch.
